Dr. Jasmine Davies is a family physician in Sarnia, ON, who also does some occupational medicine work with the Occupational Health Clinic for Ontario Workers as well as with some local industries. As someone who was born and raised in Sarnia and completed her undergraduate degree, medical school and residency at Western University, Dr. Davies is excited to be able to support the Schulich learners who are taking part in the Sarnia clerkship program.
For the first 5 years of her career she worked at West Lambton Community Health Centre where she gained invaluable experience advocating for marginalized populations and she feels she can apply these advocacy skills to helping students who may be navigating challenges as they move through their clerkship. From assisting with issues learners may be facing in the clinical setting to navigating the city, she is hoping she can make the students' experience in Sarnia as welcoming as possible.
